ParticipantThanks for the feedback Richard, I live near the River Thames here in London so the air is quite damp to, in the winter it’s a good 1-2 degrees colder here than central London.
I have always used a dehumidifier just to be sure of removing moisture. A friend has a couple of barns and needs a solution for two Ford Thunderbirds so I’ll be passing your write up to him.

The nearest place I can think of is https://www.mcgrathmaserati.co.uk I know they are about 90 mins away but they are well respected.
If you work in London there are a few places that you could drop the car off and pickup at the end of the day e.g. www.verdimaserati.co.uk West London. used Karl for service and sales.

https://www.prestigeautoworks.co.uk/maserati-servicing Uxbridge, used Dale for service and preventative maintenance.

ParticipantOk Richard, if they don’t need to be anchored then you should be fine & you car will be nice and snug.
ParticipantHi Richard, I have space but no cover so looked at this a while ago. I opted to go for an outisde heavy duty car cover that was lined.
The car shields I looked at need to be anchored so this was a problem for me as it can be very windy, also if its close to the house the wind noise might be a problem if its not a snug fit.

ParticipantThese are indeed difficult to get hold of, have you considered getting a carbon dip. This would be much cheaper and easy to do.
Otherwise you could contact the usual breakers David Askew or Eurospares and then to let you know if one comes in.
ParticipantWhen I helped a friend last year we pushed the seats backwards and forwards about 5 seconds each way. We pondered the same question. It worked from memory after the second attempt.
We did disconnect the battery for about 30 mins initially.

ParticipantRCY indicates a fault but it could be one of many things minor or major. The best approach is to get the codes read with a reader if there is an indie nearby go along and let them give you a printout.
If your next service is due soon I’d wait until then, otherwise if it’s next year get it checked ASAP.
