Hi Scott, for my 3200 & GS I bought one from here https://www.carcovershop.co.uk/covers-indoor-outdoor-Maserati.asp.

You don’t say which model you have, if you are after an OEM they sometimes come up on ebay at a good price

Great news Henry, when using Scuderia I drop off the car and then take the tube into London. I’ve known Karl and Kabir for a long time they said sold me my first 3200 about 20 years ago.

They are very experienced in the prancing horse if you ever want one.

Enjoy your weekend and the QP.

It depends where in London you are

    https://www.scuderia.london near Chiswick

https://autofficina.co.uk just off the A3 in Tolworth

http://www.avengineeringltd.com depending on how far you are from East London.

I’ve used all three over the time.

All of them might do it free if they are not busy so. It only takes about 15 mins, otherwise it’s about £80 to get a print out.

At the time I asked a wrapping company to do it, this time I would do it myself. You need a steady hand and very sharp tools. Also I would recommend 3m https://www.3m.co.uk/3M/en_GB/car-wrapping-uk/paint-protection/.

The reason I would do it myself now, is that I have put up some frosted film in a couple of windows so have a bit of experience of lining it up and ensuring everything is nice and clean.

    Good day to you,

A similar problem I had a few years ago, I opted to have some high quality protection film on that part of the car. The plastic strips that were available at the time were fiddly to install.

I watched the video. As ex 3200 owner I’m loving the rear lights, looking forward to hearing the revised sound.

That’s a nice gesture, although can’t imagine many will actually wear it.

Hi Adrian, when I had my 3200 I had them reclined, however you can also get replacements now. I know owners who have also used these suppliers. I paid about £50 to have mine sorted.

A leap in development which is good news & some decent HP by modern standards. I’m still holding my breath for the price.

Official guidlines if your current mot has expired “Your car, van or motorcycle’s MOT expiry date will be extended by 6 months if it’s due on or after 30 March 2020 – but you must keep your vehicle safe to drive.”

So as long as you have booked an mot in advance for the day you are travelling to the garage you will be fine. This is what I do when mine is passed its expiry date.

That’s a lovely photo Adrian, my friends has exactly the same colour. I used to drive from London to Waterlooville to let Mike Roberts look after my 3200. If you are happy then the drive is worth it. Also McGraths museum is always good for the eyes.

I don’t think there is much nearby, for general maintenance I know someone uses Auto Alfa in Basildon, alternatively a good indie that will have the diagnostics is Grimaldi Engineering in Halstead.

Shame you’re not in Surrey as I have the unidiag software.

Hope you get sorted soon.also any chance of a photograph of your 3200, I do miss mine.

Alway check the battery first, if you suspect it’s the starter motor these can be repaired at a reasonable cost. http://www.maseratished.co.uk, Mike looked after my old 3200.
