Thats really odd, makes you wonder if there were slightly different build specifications e.g. different trackers or wiring looms. Maybe it could be something to do with different batteries. I don’t have any facts or evidence just some wild guesses but very odd indeed.

    Hi Paul,

Welcome to ownership and lots of miles smiling.

This to me looks like the fob for the tracker, it’s exactly the same as mine. I had mine disconnected as I keep my car in the garage plus it does drain the battery.

Try this Annie, if you are facing the car on the left will be the bonnet switch signal, the bonnet should press on this from memory to give the all clear of closing. If you can check and see if this is working ok. Unfortunately I don’t have my GS at home so can’t take a photo, have a look here part number 27.

I’ve never had that although only been over the limit on track. Try pushing the bonnet closed after opening it as there may be some dirt confusing the sensor or the check the bonnet is nice and tight.

You could try some electrical cleaner on the sensor. Otherwise it might require a new sensor, a while back a small bird was taken in through my grill and only found out when I changed the bonnet badge so it’s surprising what gets caught up there.

I got this once on my iPhone, i then tried on my laptop & all worked fine. I then deleted my history on the iPhone & it’s been fine since. I just put it down to a glitch.

I’m hoping to pick up the GS in a few days depending on travel restrictions. Btw I’m in Kingston, Surrey. My. number in case you wish to speak is 07973619499.

There are two people I’d recommend to do this depending on where you are geographically.

http://www.maseratished.co.uk Mike Roberts, he did mine when I had a 3200.

    http://www.davidaskew.co.uk David Askew

Best to call them and talk through your exact issues.

    Regards

    Tony

Just saw the video, MC20 makes me think the car will be something like a conservative looking MC12. I’ve held off buying an alternative Italian car until May. So I hope its as good as it sounds.

Thanks Andy, yes I’ll also get you a cake if you not on a diet.

Will see you there Graham, I’ll come from my office in Holborn so an easy event for me.

Look forward to seeing you both.
