    Hi Jon,

Are you meaning companies such as Cuvva, By Miles (which I think was Just Miles at launch) etc.?

Would be interesting to see if anyone does have experience of them….

I am not sure I want a device plugged into the OBD on my car all the time (which is how I think By Miles works), not sure how Cuvva track it.

indeed, no doubt the original was a  Buratta rather than a very nice, strong Parmigiano-Reggiano – enjoy the ‘grating’ 🙂

Would be interested to know how you get on with the fitting….

I had a QPV a few years back and my rear door stays did the same.

I have since learnt it is a very common problem with the QPV, and for such a luxury car is a bit embarrassing with the creaks and clonks when opening the rear doors!

When the car was in for a service I asked for it to be looked at, and was told it is a fairly expensive job (why was I surprised with that?), but it may be worth getting some quotes.

I did (fleetingly) contemplate doing the job myself, but as you say it really was not clear what needed to be done, so left well alone!

Please keep this thread updated with any progress….

    Hi Henry,

Yes, good job with the fitting – look nicely aligned!

    Certainly needed doing 😉

    Morning Henry,

Must admit when I replaced the exhaust on my 3200 a few years back, I went for the standard exhaust, as, IMHO it is still the best looking in terms of fit with the car. There are obviously many other makes out there who will tailor the exhaust to the sound you want, but I still think the gentle rumble of the standard exhaust is the best – I know many will disagree!

One point though is to make sure who ever fits your exhaust lines it up properly – many 3200’s look a bit odd with the tail pipes sticking out too far, or not symmetrical – another thing to bear in mind with non-standard exhausts….

    Regards,

    Graham

My understanding is the ‘options’ pack for the weekend has not been released yey, but this could well be on there…

    Agreed!

I was the same. It was adverts in the motoring press for the Ghibli GT back in ’96/’97, and then having one ‘fly’ past me in my 3.0 24v Alfa 164 (still miss that one – great car!) on the A303 that got me thinking….

It looks like the Maserati/Haas link up will not be happening…

Agree with you Simon that it is laughable the link up with Alfa. Cannot see that being competitive for a couple of years yet….

No idea why the ‘ds’ is there!! If you click on your name in the top right of the page, you will be able to edit your profile. In there you will be able to change your name to what ever you want 😉
