I cleaned the “stickieness” from the steering column surround and also the ashtray which were doth annoying me, i then sprayed with Plasticote and have been very happy with the results, no idea how long it will last but for the price of the can it is worth a try.

Once something lets go it often looses pressure quickly, always thought it odd that warning lights are not more obvious, I seem to think the the brake warning light on the capri is orange (should really remember) and is therefore obviously different to othe lights. Is it just a Maserati thing that we think oil pressure when a warning light comes on?

Have always felt they were a bit weak in promoting the brand, the odd time I have seen a stand at events it has seemed that they had merely employed someone to hand out leaflets.

I enjoyed it!

Seemed a busier than last year which was good, plenty to see, lots of Fiats, Alfa’s and Ferrari’s, then a nice mix of most of the other Italian manufactures. Maserati numbers are always down on others but still a good showing, they were in a good area although sadly, there seemed to have been little thought given to how they were arranged, it was a bit haphazard.

Caught up with a few friends that I have not seen in a while and met a few new people. Would be nice to have a club and maybe a factory / dealer presence next year?

Not been for many years.

When I went it was a pretty big show / display but obviously not the same sort of track action, although not completely static. There seems to have been quite a reduction in trade stands etc at many events, I guess this is down to increased cost and the ease of selling online?

The Brands Hatch event has the making of a good event, it just needs to grow a little.

Same here, I have a David Askew replacement – so far has permed ok although reads high, but prefer that to the jumping around!
