I think the forecast is ok so hopefully will stay dry and and hopefully a bit of sun too – well we can live in hope! Looks like they have given us a nice spot again this year – although sadly seems we will be a bit lighter on cars.

Looking forward to catching up with people.

A couple of days ago the new Maserati MC20 GT2 was filmed covering some kilometers at Monza Circuit during a test day organized by Kateyama. As you can spot the car was a development mule, with many details and minor elements which will improve for the final customer version. This MC20 is under development in order to be raced in SRO’s new GT2 class (Fanatec GT2 European Series), which aims to reduce aero and increases power over the GT3 class, making cars more accessible for drivers with less experience. The GT2 cars would mainly focus on having a powerful engine with 640-700hp, which would be more powerful than restricted GT3 engine, while having low downforce more similar to the GT4 category. The MC20 GT2 will be unveiled at the end of next June during the Spa 24h weekend.

Only ever used the Unidiag download, dont really understand it but did help at the time – to be honest I was a bit scared of messing things up but should look into it a bit more unless there are now better alternatives?

Last time I took a classic to europe I initially struggled to find cover but on speaking to my insurance company who provide breakdown cover as part of the policy, they increased it to euro cover for just a few pounds more, this was prior to brexit but worth a check?

I think maybe some will not understand the car as it seems this initial model at least has been designed for some “relative” comfort despite the fact it has a more advanced and stiffer tub than many of its contemporaries, still hoping it appears on track and proves to be a good car.

I agree it would be good to see something like the smaller coupes in the line-up which to be honest I currently feel is not right.

I suspect the power delivery of the electric cars might make you smile? Agree the racing electric cars does not excite me, even the petrol cars are a little too quiet on track these days! Good to see the likes oy Toyota are still exploring other options, and are continuing to develop the Hydrogen ICE race car.
