You can download the whole manual from the main Maserati website .

lf you go to the tag “Ownership “and then after the bent one on “documentation” you can choose model and then year and download a while manual to save and print

did you see the pictures and also the video of the dinner and three bedrooms they made on the production line -its on you tube along with a video of the line 12 minutes long of the production of the last Gt and Gc . One of the few videos you find of the “line”.

    its under Motor 1 article.

The interesting question is when did this actually happen? May or November ? or?

Also that Zeda isn’t the last car produced as you can see others behind it on the line.

interestingly one of those reg looks like one is is now a Landrover and another a Mercedes but the meat in the sandwich is indeed a 3200. What i have learnt is – i didn’t know DVLA reallocated plates once off a vehicle

Ref your posting it would be great if paperwork was re united to the owner but I reckon its a long shot -still you never know !

    From another Chris:-

Sorry if stating the obvious! The Owners Manual does not have the Multi Media/SAt Nav manual/documentation in it as its contained in a separate booklet and not in the main Owners Manual. There is also a multi media quick reference guide.

All are downloadable on the main maserati.com website from  the  “Ownership “ tag and then go down to Owner Documentation -year- model- country etc

Historically i cant imagine going anywhere without a spare, but lets move forward and if you have ever used one of those foam kits then i doubt if you would still be a fan of the foam kit.

i then discovered a spray can sold in Halfords called Holts Tyreweld that does what it necessary without the potential mess associated with foam kits. You butythem in different sizes according to wheel rim diameter and they dont cost an arm and a leg. All I know is when used it worked and got me home and the tyre was permanent repair friendly after. Value for a tenner.

You can get this with the sender much cheaper(relatively) for about £500 if its PART NUMBER: 197118-£498 Scuderia parts or £600 if its part 800600 number f suppliers- the lowest i found was £555 for 800600.

The sender unit is external to the bearing and held in place by 6 rivets/pozi looking at pictures of the part-  it maybe you cant get the sender unit separately to replace on the bearing or vice versa.

What i do know at these prices I would be Googling everything I could !

Engine sound is rather good isn’t it.

in reply to: 2009 GT Headlining Removal #11507

    This might be useful

Not a lot of detail but shows enough to give an idea. The complete  replacement assembly is over £550 ( to order and wait). Eurosperes have it a san Enquiry item os probably you can but the “cloth” and strip off and regluea new one. I have never done this on a Maser but would guess the final result is how good you do the Spray Glueing rather then the fixing as its onto a solid one piece backing.

Could be  depending on how confident you feelas a do it at home job  to get the right finish you should buy the whole thing and save the money on the dis and reassembly.

in reply to: 3200 Clutch Release bearing & pressure plate #11495

    Graham

I don’t think there is an easy way. It’s not a trivial job as you know. Its one of those I would be praying i didn’t have to do.

Gearbox off and the engine stays.

If you are changing the release bearing you might want to change the the rear crank seal as well and I assume the pressure plate is OK ?
