    Dear All

I have contacted the webmaster and he has confirmed he will look and see what is wrong. It may take a little while depending on the problem.

you can get these pretty easily depending on the colour you are after- even new. trouble is they cont come cheap. If its the one piece headlining you are still likely to have to pay £500-£700. New it can range from £1700 to over £3,000 if you have alcantara

You can see it all on Eurospares.com –MOT the big Euro car parts group

Might be a question about a charger rather than the battery ? I always use Tanya now as a lot of choice and good prices normally.

Regarding chargers there are so many but a smart charger isn’t expensive nowadays . I have two Smart by RING 8 amp and the other 4amp  and one Halfords Smart 4Amp come in at about 30-50 pnds.

Are you within the  3years warranty period? Did you notify within the 3 year period if you are over the 3 years.

Have you got the wiring diagrams for both early and late cars ? The diagrams generally available for download are only for early cars. Maserati Classiche in Italy have a documentation service for owners “to assist with restorations”. The only problem is that like many things Maserati it comes at a £££.

I have only the early car wiring diagrams and manuals.

is what you are looking for?

Before doing anything drastic like going to a dealer –if the car has been sitting a long time you should spend sometime just pumping the normal brake pedal and if no good then you can utilise the “Manual Disengagement Procedure “as found in the manual. I had the same on my QP GTS of the same year.

Did you investigate changing the positive offset of these wheels by machining the back of the alloy wheel by a specialist machining shop -Or vice versa reducing using spacers?

Depending on the allow in question a specialist machine shop can tell you how much they can safely machine to increase the positive offset. or again what spacers to reduce as not all “new” offsets will be possible.

i dont know how much offset change you are trying to achieve .Either way increasing or reducing ,as you will know ,changing offset affects a whole load of things other than clearances and “viewing or look of the car”.

Depends what you mean by “ferrari type wheels” as Maserati-Modena started documenting wheels as “Campagnolo” (do you mean this?) after conversion to bolt-on alloys, using a non-Borrani hub.  It is difficult to know out how many Ghiblis there are i.e made using a non Borrani hub or the subject of a converted later.

Apart from the ones you quote in your post the only other one I know of is

    RW 4103 Borrani Wheel 7.0”x15″

i did post this yesterday on your first question so i assume it didn’t help?

The fuel pipe from the petrol cap into the fuel tank is pretty much a straight line on all GT whatever year with no funny bends. there is I know a fuel interception valve at the end of the fuel to union connecting pipe into the tank which could  have something to do with be your problem.

in reply to: Seat switch cover #18609

I haven’t done it but went and looked at the exploded diagram and parts availability for a guested year (pre 2017 facelift). You can look at every year but i had to choose one

    https://www.eurospares.co.uk/Maserati/GranTurismo/GranTurismo_(2016)/PartDiagrams/09_41_2/FRONT_SEATS:_MECHANICS_AND_ELECTRONICS

take a look here and you will find the exploded diagram

The switch cover is about £50 and available left and right- looks like its a plug to plug but I haven’t ever taken one off. Cant imagine its a problem over than there are a few to do as switches for each function
