ParticipantHi Graham and Tony,
Thanks for the photos and description from the RAC experience.
From what I can see the two metal clips at the top were not in place but didn’t seem as easy as to just pull it out. Do you think there will be clips at the bottom of the back rest as well?

ParticipantHi Guys,
Thank you guys for the replies. Had a quick look over the weekend and have a temporary solution of just unplugging the rear right hand side speaker. Previous owners seem to have been back there as the back seats were not on their clips.
I am now going to start a new thread for rear seats removal 🙂 !
Kind Regards,
Henry

ParticipantHi Graham,
I hope younare well.
I haven’t investigated how I am going to get the batteries out yet. Left it after I found the other key and it worked. So I know it is a battery issue, nothing more major than that.
Will let you know how I end up removing and replacing etc.

ParticipantSorry I forgot to click the notify box so have only just seen this. Thanks for your suggestions. I did think it pretty strange that it was soldered on, didn’t think that would be the standard.
Anyway I had a look at my second key and it has the same soldered on battery, however, we have some short term success as that battery obviously hasn’t died and locks/unlocks the car without any issues. At least I now know the issue so can look into getting the soldering sorted and replace the battery.
Thanks again for the assistance.

ParticipantHi Graham,
Ok great, thanks for the heads up. Shiltech is looking quite good if that is the case as I have some friends up near Loughborough that I could stay with.
Just had a look and she is currently on 54800 miles. In doing so I have got another question for the forum about keys and alarms! I shall start another convo now 🙂 !

ParticipantHi Tony,
Thanks a lot for the detailed response and recommendations, a lot to go through and a lot of variety so much appreciated.
This will be for March/April time, just in time for the Goodwood members meeting and another summer of fun. So hopefully should be able to get a booking for the more busy workshops.
Kind regards,
Henry

ParticipantReally happy with the sound. Was a bit apprehensive when they arrived to see there was no silencing at all. I guess the clue is in the name: ‘Sport’!ha.
Anyway they are loud but a good amount of loud, not obnoxious at all, with a nice rumble while stationary.

ParticipantEvening guys,
I hope you enjoyed the Bank Holiday.
Thank you for replies Graham and Tony. I have gone with the Larini Exhaust as they are in stock and look the same as the originals so shouldn’t have any of the issues with sticking out etc that you said Graham.
Thanks again for the heads up.
Kind Regards,
Henry
