I had a similar problem with a 3200GTA. There is some similarity between the cars so my comments may be relevant.

My problem turned out to be due to the air con which has a condensation collection tank somewhere behind the dashboard and out of site. This tank has an outlet which is a rubberlike tube that passes excess water to the exterior by descending through the floor. It has a slightly fish tailed end (if I remember correctly) and it had become clogged with dirt and gunge from the road. Cleaning this (from underneath the car) allowed the water to escape properly. Otherwise it just overflowed onto the left hand side passenger footwell especially when I turned the car briskly to the left. In the 3200GT this created another problem given that the fuse board was mounted below the passenger footwell and didn’t like getting wet. Needless to say the problem fist showed itself when my wife was wearing a brand new pair of light coloured shoes!

Shame I missed it. I am not a fan of the program and definitely not a fan of Mr Brewers presenting style but it would have been interesting to see the (in)famous Bi-Spark

    Hmm,

Mick, I can’t really see that using a car on the track puts much more stress on the steering than would be subjected to ‘enthusiastic’ road use or HOW you could incorrectly use the steering in any circumstances!

Best of luck with your battles with Maserati, it is a shame when what sounds like from what you have said, is the repair of a manufacturing issue is not honoured by the manufacturer and they generate unnecessary ill-will in not handling the issue in the manner that you would hope.

We are aware of some teething issues with the chassis number formatting, there is a brief explanation to the right of the vehicle details that explains the formatting that the site has presently been designed to accept.

There is a need to ensure that the data entered into the chassis number field is accurate as this is the only unique identified for a vehicle as everything else can (and does) change. What with personal plates on the newer cars and re-sprays on the older ones.

You should have the ability to amend your vehicle details, this feature was supposed to already be present and was there during earlier testing so we are working with the web developers to get it re-instated.

Yes, I just tried the same thing, you can choose which cars appear on the site so you can hide your two cars with errors and create a new one and only show that but we will have to think about how to delete incorrect records.
