Maserati GB have been approached by the Top Gear team at the BBC:
“We’ve just been approached by Top Gear TV who are due to film a Christmas Special and are planning to create a Christmas Tree shape with 200 cars (both current & heritage) and have asked whether we could bring one (or maybe more) classic cars to the filming on the 4th October @ Dunsfold – obviously not having a heritage fleet ourselves we would ask whether a Club member could be interested in bringing something along. It sounds like a long but potentially very interesting day.”

“We’re currently putting together our ‘Christmas Special’ episode, where our presenters will be driving across the UK in three second-hand cars. It’s going to be a very Christmas-themed episode, with lots of festive driving challenges along the way.
As the climax to the film, we are aiming to create a Top Gear Christmas Tree. This will involve maneuvering cars in such a way that they form the outline of a giant tree laid out on the track, which will then be lit up, culminating in a traditional “Christmas lights switch on”, with a Top Gear twist!
We would love for you to be involved with this, and would like to invite you to join us for the filming on the 4th October at Dunsfold Aerodrome. The filming would start approximately midday, with a late finish around 20:30pm. Food and drink will be provided on site. Please note we will be filming outside come rain or shine!”
