“I’m writing from Classic Cars magazine, where we’re hoping to locate a Maserati Quattroporte V for an upcoming cover feature. Focused around some of the most notable Pininfarina designs, the article will compare five different models, run over 5000 words and feature professional photography throughout. I wanted to ask today whether the Maserati Club UK has any members who might consider making their Quattroporte available for the photoshoot at Longcross, Chobham.
The shoot is likely to take most of a working day, split between static and action photography, with a small element where I – the writer – drive the car. Distance covered during the shoot will be below 50 miles, and my driving will be only a fraction of this. I should mention that our publisher has a fully comprehensive, agreed value industry insurance policy to cover the day, a copy of which we can make available. I can also provide our social distancing and PPE protocols: both the photographer and I will be wearing masks and gloves where appropriate.
Though we hope to bring the shoot together within September, we’ve yet to set an exact date and will work to suit any interested owner’s schedule. Fuel costs can be covered and, naturally, we would be only to happy to provide the owner with the magazine and a high resolution copy of the photoset upon publication. ”
Please contact the Club Administrator if you are interested – [email protected] and he will put you in touch with Emma.
