Featured on the Maserati FuoriSerie Instagram account is this all-weather MC20 rendering fighting its way through the snow. It’s almost impossible not to love what you’re seeing. The exotic coupe’s suspension has been lifted and further equipped with snow tires, a ski rack, and a cool orange paint job.

The post specifically reads “I don’t drive when it rain. Me in my new MC20 ‘Gatto delle nevi.'” The latter is Italian for snowmobile. Unfortunately, Maserati is only utilizing this Instagram account to show what’s theoretically possible, not necessarily a preview of future series production models.

The customization program offers owners all kinds of interesting possibilities and the folks in Modena, Italy are definitely trying to help stir up people’s imagination. Basically, it’s up to customers to make things like this off-road-ready MC20 a reality and Maserati will gladly oblige.

Bear in mind the MC20 costs around $200,000 without any customization. With a price tag already that high, it’s kind of hard to see owners willing to take their cars to the extreme.

Looking ahead a few years, a fully electric MC20 is expected, along with a convertible body style. The MC20’s slick carbon-fiber body and carbon-fiber chassis bring total weight down to just 3,306 pounds. The existing coupe’s performance specs are already impressive with a 0-62 mph time of less than 2.9 seconds, 0-124 mph in 8.8 seconds, and a top speed of 202 mph. Expect the all-electric variant to exceed those figures.
