The 2025 Maserati GranTurismo combines the driving performance of a sports car with luxurious comfort suitable for long-distance drives. Designed and developed at the Maserati Innovation Lab in Modena, GranTurismo is 100% Made in Italy and epitomizes Italian luxury and performance.

Its advanced architecture readily accepts both internal combustion (ICE) and fully electric (BEV) drivetrains with virtually no change to the vehicle’s core design, something that is unique in the BEV space. This allows customers the luxury of choice with the Trofeo ICE GranTurismo variant featuring the powerhouse 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 Nettuno engine, which utilizes pre-chamber combustion technology derived from Formula One.
Alternatively, the GranTurismo Folgore adopts a 100% electric battery-based powertrain, powered by three 300-kW permanent magnet motors sending 760 horsepower to all four wheels. Its 800-volt architecture was developed with innovative solutions derived from Formula E, and its distinctive “t-bone” battery arrangement allows for a low center of gravity while retaining the same striking design and driving position as its ICE variants.

“We are honored to receive these prestigious awards from such a respected automotive authority like Car and Driver,” said General Manager of Maserati North America, Andrea Soriani. Maserati has a well-documented history of building beautiful and desirable Grand Touring cars. The modern GranTurismo perfectly encapsulates Maserati’s core elements of elegant design, incredible performance, and unwavering dedication to Italian excellence.”
With more than 75 years of history dating back to the original A6 1500 grand tourer, the 2025 GranTurismo Trofeo and GranTurismo Folgore encapsulate an undeniable Italian flair, harkening to the best parts of the Brand’s past while shining a beacon toward its innovative future.
