Lockton’s Sponsors choice, Rex Barton, 3200 GTA Chosen by David Hamer of Lockton’s

For the sponsors choice, David walks around all the Maserati’s present on the day, not just the concours entries and makes his choice, so everyone has a chance of winning on the day.
List of judges this year:
Helen Miles
Bob Amato
Roberto Giordanelli
This is the first time the Maserati Club has had a female judge for the concours, which was quite fitting on the 100 anniversary of women getting the vote
We will be having a female member to judge the concours from now on while I am organising the event
For those of you who don’t know, Helen Miles is a club member who has had several Maserati’s and is a very keen supporter of club events work permitting
We had 17 cars in the concours this year, all turned out extremely well, they would all have won any other car show but, the competition this year was very high indeed and as they say, there can be only one!
Everyone I spoke to really enjoyed the day and the array of gorgeous Maserati’s on display and judging by the way certain visitors to the Palace reacted on seeing all those gleaming Maserati’s lined up for a photo opportunity, was great to see the looks on their faces as they posed for photos next to their favorite one or two!
My big thanks go to all the owners who entered the concours and once again did the club proud
My special thanks to all three judges who were very professional and received high praise from all the owners as to their impartial an knowledgeable judging.
But, my very special thanks goes to Helen Miles, our very first female judge who did an amazing job in every way.
Once again the weather was exceptional, the cars looked amazing in the sunshine, long may it continue!!
