For those of you who have missed out on booking for MIR 2017, and if you still have the urge to drive to Italy in 2017, a growing number of Orphans from the Maserati International 2017 are becoming interested in another event – in Castell’Arquato, the weekend before the International.
The Best of Italy Race is a festival of all things Italian and running for its 2nd year. Last year was featured in the January 2017 issue of Auto Italia. It comprises of cocktail party, dinners and lunches in the paddock, a Saturday Hill Climb and time trial, cycle race and fashion show.

The entry costs 500 euros per car including driver and passenger, plus your hotel cost – nearby at 80 to 100 euros per night. The organiser is very keen to get as many Maseratisti as possible and told me he has block booked local hotels in anticipation of our entry.
