ParticipantTavistock is about 40mins from Exeter and Refuel does a regular series of car meets https://www.re-fuel.co.uk/

ParticipantHi Paul,
welcome and what a beauty. I have a GranTurismo Trofeo and live in Tavistock…. Might see you at Refuel one weekend

ParticipantHave you checked the battery? How old is the Battery? 9/10 times it’s the battery or lose connections – so rule this out before doing any expensive stuff.

ParticipantI too am interested. I am covered by green flag but they won’t cover cars over 16 years old – despite never having called them out!

ParticipantWho knows if you are on your own or I am but I much prefer the new binding and layout…
Stephen Ford
ParticipantWell, it needs something as the forum is a bit quiet – so this idea would have my support…

ParticipantOn books – I have the 100 years Maserati book and the Maserati Quattroporte The History by Jurgen Llwandoski – both available on Ebay.
On the Awards, the only place I know where they might be listed in one place would be the literature associated with the Awards edition model
Good luck

ParticipantSnap! You are correct

ParticipantI too have a QPV GTS so admire your exquisite taste. The protective film on the rear arches is often not re-applied after resprays and is essential to prevent re-occurrence. I would get a wrap company to do it, as my Maserati specialist only managed an OK job (7/10/) as it is tricky to do without wrinkles etc…

ParticipantI used the Hummel paints for models – they do a. Ferrari Red which worked well

ParticipantAnd while am I thinking (and I am sure the committee have considered all this) might the newsletter be better by email? It could be used to drive traffic to the website and make that more relevant, save costs and save the planet? On the forum – why keep people out? Our 700 members are a fraction of the community…why not draw people in and work with other forums such as SportsMaserati and Maserati Life? Our forum is very quiet…..On membership why not offer reduced 1st year membership or commission l deals with places like Emblem, McGrath’s and the new and used Maserati dealer network for including the clubs details with their invoices or new car owner handover process?
I don’t want to appear negative – the events are great, I enjoy Trident, I am just challenging the operating model….how has it changed over the last 5 year? I get everyone does their best with no resources but can’t help thinking we could do a lot more given the interest in cars at the moment…
Rant over – I am back to the garden
