It’s another one of Marchionne’s ‘magic mushrooms’. With Ferrari still an active, front-running F1 participant, the idea that you can attach the names of its two most revered FCA siblings – also, lest we forget, two of the other greatest names from early F1 history – to the side of a pair of also-rans and come out ahead in terms of credibility is laughable. As I have noted in the latest Trident, the Tipo 159 Alfetta and the 250F will be over-revving in their graves.
