ParticipantThanks, I may speak to him again when this is all over. My car doesn’t really need to be hot to suffer the problem if I start it in the morning and instantly stall it or turn it off, I need to wait the 30 seconds before it starts. I have had the car quite a few years and it’s rarely an issue, although in the early days, before I sorted the handbrake, hill starts etc were a nervous time!

ParticipantA few years back Mike did look at mine to try and sort the restart issue but he never got to the bottom of it.

ParticipantI wonder if Maserati (company / division) need to rediscover their identity a bit, obviously the brand has had a strange journey but equally importantly I wonder about the people, especially those that will have input as to how the brand is Marketed etc.
We could be going into an era where Maserati can really stand out again and its own place rather than just be a cheap Ferrari!

ParticipantI have a similar issue, although not just hot start, if i turn the car off or stall it, it will not restart for about 30 seconds, it has always done it and previous owner did tell me about it, neither he, I or Mike (when i took it to him for a service) have managed to resolve it, seems to also happen if the car doesnt fire up straight away from cold but obviously not so easy to check as normally statrs first time.
Touch wood – its the only thing that seems to be a problem with the car in over 7 years of ownership – awkward if you stall it in a dodgy location / junction.

ParticipantSaw this – not really sure if it gives any more clues to what we can really expecy from Maserati in the future, however I do like the idea of Maserati’s powered by there own engine.

ParticipantCertainly different – if I’m honest Im not sure but would like to see one for real.

ParticipantI hate not having a spare, although not keen on the space saver it’s better than nothing – would prefer a proper wheel!

ParticipantI suspect some setting changes would help make it seem more current, with members posts a bit more visible and easier to update. Also the events could also be shown on the page.
I just feel it would be good to encourage members / potential members to engage with the club and fellow members.
I’m sure a few people could be given some sort of management rights so that they could add photos / info as the club?
Also should not be difficult for club to post on instagram?
