ParticipantGood evening Antony-Condon, I have a good friend who is able source Maserati parts, for most, if not all marques. Her email,
[email protected] Don’t let the name put you off ? She is married to an Italian who works for Ferrari at Maranello.
As I said a good friend, just email that address with your request, you can mention me if you like. I hope she can help you out.
cheers for now Dave Jenkinson

ParticipantHi Henry,
not sure if I am writing in the space for you to receive my input. Seems like you already know of McGraths, who I would thoroughly recommend, however there diagnostic kits have limited scope, for a problem with my Granturismo that they couldn’t fix, David kindly organised contact with Jardine motors of Colchester. Over the course of the last few months they have gone away from Maserati and solely Ferrari but, they have retained the licenses for the specialised diagnostic equipment and were able to sort out my problem. Cost, just over £200 inc’ vat for an hour for what ever they did, May sound like enough but I guess it’s about the going rate and their efforts have worked, so far. Dave Jenkinson

ParticipantGood morning Marcus, Dave Jenkinson here, I was going to give you a lead but now see you are at the other end of the country. However, I have had a similar problem which won’t disappear after a total discharge of original battery. New battery fitted only to discover faults similar to yours but with the added bonus of the alarm resetting itself as the door is shut.
in my neck of the woods McGrath’s of Kimpton near Hitchen, Herts, have been extremely helpful but, this is beyond them and have directed me to Jardine Motors, Colchester. They, I have been reliably informed will have the software to tackle anything.
Good luckDavid Jenkinson
ParticipantGood evening David, I have driven past Lake Como for many for many years on my way to Todi, in Umbria, not in my Maserati though. I do have a preferred route and stop offs.
I concur with John b the Champagne region is a must, as is the Briquiterie. In fact we’re there in early July, this time with the Granturismo..
Are you going to Silverstone this weekend? If so maybe we could catch up and chat. Unfortunately I am only there on Friday.
I look forward to hearing from you.
