    Many thanks.  Will take a look before i drive, although it has been off the road for nearly two years undergoing lot of slow work so not really in the realms of ‘extending’ an MOT i expect.!  Certainly some sort of appointment is necessary from what i have read.

    Hi Tony,

    Thanks for your reply.  I’ve been to McGrath with the car (before I took it to pieces) and liked them.  I just wonder about a 99 mile journey with a car that’s SORN even though it would be travelling to an MOT appointment, might be trumping ol’ Dominic Cummings’ trip!June 2018 when it still drove!
