ParticipantI’m not sure what to do as I can’t find rear brake discs for my year 2000 QP 3.2 V8 EVOLUZIONE. My dealer has been on to Maserati and the suggestion is I have some made. That leads to where/who would I do that?
Any suggestions,
Myke Grantham 5125

KeymasterHmm, not very helpful of Maserati. assuming you have already tried the obvious of calling round the Maserati specialists to see if they have stock. I would check people like Brembo/EBC/Tarox to see if they make quality aftermarket discs for the QP.
Having just done a ‘google search’ for these they appear to be the same as the Ghibli discs of the same era and are available on ebay…

ParticipantThere have been two group buys for 3200/4200 discs & I have bought through this method. If you have the correct part numbers I can contact my colleagues and see if these can be made up. The only issue will be cost both were group buys so the cost was kept down. My 3200 were £200 for a set, the current buy is £300 that’s front and back so a huge saving.
I already have the rears fitted on my 3200 and a friend fitted the fronts to his 4200 so the quality/reliability is not an issue.

ParticipantHi Guys,
Thanks for the quick responses. Unfortunately the examples shown on e-bay are not drilled as mine are.
The part number today is 377280351 and previously was 377230351.
Thanks again
Myke

KeymasterHave you spoken to any of the independent Maserati specialists? I’d recommend giving Marios at Autoshield a call. He may have stock or know how to obtain some.

ParticipantThanks again guys. I’ve been in contact with Eurospares and they are unable to supply – with no stock in Italy either.
I’ll try Marios next and see where we get.
Thanks again.

ParticipantOk Mike, if no one has any I will speak to my friend who gets the 3200/4200 made up and see what they can do.

ParticipantThanks to all who helped me get the parts I needed – especially David Askew who is a source great knowledge as well as Maserati bits.
