A member on a another forum has acquired a folder full of part service history on a Maserati 3200.

The chassis number is ZAMAA38D000002471, engine number 2484

The car has had various registration plates through it’s lifetime P13ARL, w319 UJM, V8 UMF,

I currently have the folder, if the owner is on here on anyone knows the owner please pass this information on. I will be at the NEC next Friday and will take the folder along.

It would be fantastic to locate the owner – thank you.

None of those VRMs belong to any club member who has uploaded their 3200 to the Club Directory.

interestingly one of those reg looks like one is is now a Landrover and another a Mercedes but the meat in the sandwich is indeed a 3200. What i have learnt is – i didn’t know DVLA reallocated plates once off a vehicle

Ref your posting it would be great if paperwork was re united to the owner but I reckon its a long shot -still you never know !

I thought it might be a long shot, just in case I’ve brought the folder with me to the classic motor show. I’ve also mentioned this to a few indie dealers.

With so many cars now SORN it’s probably unlikely but I’ll hang on and not bin it.

I’ve just got up going for breakfast then off to the NEC, I like getting there early and viewing the cars before the public arrive.

Interestingly (if you like that sort of thing!), there is a 3200 just 2 digits away from this one in the Club DB.

Even more interestingly ;), at Silverstone for the last two years the owner of a 3200 just 2 digits different to mine has been there – great to see them parked (nearly) together…

    Spooky or what?

Interestingly, I was just looking back at some images of the Club Concours in 2010 and I saw this car in the general Club parking.

So it was owned by a Club member in 2010…

May be able to do a little research to find out who.

    Will report more later
