ParticipantUsed the Pirelli Tyre Offer on the site last month to get a couple of new 19″ tyres for our Alfa 159. Nearly every distributor of Pirelli tyres can be used (and our nearest and cheapest one was just a mile away!).
Easy to register with the offer, and just had to scan the invoice provided by the fitting station and upload it with your Membership number and all was done.
The cheque for £50 came back in the post within 2 weeks, Only (very slight) downside was the cheque was sent registered post, so someone has to sign for it, or the usual trek to the Sorting Office (probably no bad thing).
Well worth it, and will be using the offer for the wife’s Alfa, and the 3200GT at some point….4th February 2017 at 10:24 am #3993Mick Sheppard
ParticipantI was looking at this but when I select the tyres for my car I only get the standard Pirelli P-Zeros, not the MGS ones, listed. I fitted these when I replaced the rears the first time and have had nothing but issues with the TPMS since.
After a number of trips to JCT600 Brooklands it was determined that the standard P-Zeros have a thick sidewall, or some such, that causes the system to read a lower than expected signal strength from the sensors in the rear wheels. This causes the system to believe that there is a fault even though the sensors are working fine. Looking on Black Circles I see that the MGS tyres are a little more expensive.
I’ll give the local tyre place a call to see what price they can give me on the right tyres. I don’t want to fit the standard ones again as I’m fed up with running with the warning light constantly on the dash. There’s also the outside chance that there is a fault with the system but having the wrong tyres on is masking the fact and preventing correct diagnosis.

ParticipantFollowing on from the above the local dealer that is listed on the Pirelli website as participating in the offer isn’t able to order the MGT tyres so unless I’m prepared to drive to find a dealer that can, potentially costing me more than I’ll get back, I’m just going to have to buy a set of tyres from BlackCircles or the like.
UPDATE: Had a call back from the local dealer. They can get the tyres after all, they had to make a phone call as they weren’t in the system. Overall they are £10 more expensive fitted than BlackCircles but with the cash back from Pirelli its a worthwhile deal. So that’s the first pair for the year. I’d anticipate having to buy another pair of rears and a pair of fronts before the end of the year.

ParticipantAlthough the web page doesn’t allow you to select a date in 2017 (it only goes up to 2016) I managed to put a claim into Pirelli and received a nice cheque for £50 in the post at lunchtime.
I anticipate needing at least one more pair of tyres before the year is out, perhaps two, so at that rate my club membership has easily been paid by the offer from Pirelli.
