Oil pressure sender unit for Merak SS

Hi everyone,
I’ve been getting a low oil pressure reading on my 1977 Merak SS.
So I have had the car’s oil pressure tested by a Maserati specialist garage using an independently fitted gauge which revealed the oil pressure is fine!
They say the problem is with the oil pressure sender unit.
Can anyone advise where I might get one?
McGrath’s sell a modified version of one which they say apparently does not give an accurate reading.
Neither MIE nor Eurospares can supply one.
Any other suggestions?
