https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/new-cars/new-maserati-2020-sports-car-previewed-test-mule
Saw this – not really sure if it gives any more clues to what we can really expecy from Maserati in the future, however I do like the idea of Maserati’s powered by there own engine.
Leaking details of their own cars…
I put an image of the rear end treatment in ‘News’…
Would be nice to hear the accompanying soundtrack (i.e. nothing at all then electric đŸ˜‰ )…
Graham
the maserati.com main website has it on the first page you het the MASERATI MMXX with a headphone sign or skip
if you click on the headphone sign you hear the engine
Yup, just listened to it. Have to assume that is the sound of the ‘mule’ at 422 Ciro Menotti.
Amazing what permanent magnet synchronous motors sound like these days…
or is it just the car’s stereo?
If the rumours are to be believed the “mule” is an actual “Alfieri” chassis but with heavy disguise.
The engine is a development of the Ferrari Roma engine with two cylinders removed and different crank geometry.
How much of this is true or speculation remains to be seen.
It is good to see a new Maserati sports car out on the streets whatever the validity of the rumours are.
