    So what are people’s views on this?

    To be honest I think it will be quite a while before it had any impact – assuming it is done properly and really does mean that the company takes a more long term view of the cars it sells and it’s heritage.

    I can’t believe we will see the company making parts etc but guess that if these were by authorised / original providers there may be something more to it.

    Hopefully a positive but time will tell.

    Its a great move and about time, so many parts are not obtainable that it puts off new potential owners.

    I really hope it gets off the ground and they extend it to some of the later cars. I’ve spoken to many people think of of buying some of the later cars 1990s & 2000s + but the lack of parts puts them off.

    So fingers crossed it goes ahead.
