    Hi Members,

Vehicle : 2014 Maserati Grand Tourismo MC Stadale.

I have a peculiar fault which has occurred today, after the car had been sat not moved for a while.

After starting and driving for about 5 minutes, A yellow light symbol appeared on the dash with the message “check left side turn signal”

I noticed when depressing the indicator stalk to activate the left signal the dash light  indicator flashed rapidly , ( just like if a bulb had blown in the front or back)

When checking to see if it was the front or back i noticed that no left hand signal indicators were flashing Front, rear and side completely dead no turn signal flashing could be seen for the left hand side at all .

I then checked the right hand side and this was fine all signals flash as normal.

I activated the hazard warning signal and again the right hand side was fine but nothing on the left

Done the usual turn off restart procedure and no joy still the same. However i did notice every now and then the indicator for the left side would start to blink normal only for like 5 seconds thenreturn to the above state.

So I kept the Left indicator on for while to see if it was intermittent apart for the initial 5 seconds it was  back to no signal again

the same happens when arming the car the right hand side blinks fine but nothing on the left

We have had some very damp conditions of late snow with heavy rain and wind , I am thinking along the lines that maybe some dampness has had an effect.  As if it was the relay or fuse i would have no signals working at all

Appreciate if thoughts or suggestions or if anyone has had the same or similar problem happen to them

    Thanks

    Sanjay

First thought is condensation or moisture somewhere, second thought is a loose fuse or relay.

Also have a look at the indicator covers and check the seal in case some moisture is getting in there.

If it snowed where you are then this may have caused moisture or heavy the heavy rain we have been having.

    Btw – that’s a lovely car.

    Hi Tony

    Thanks for your help.

That is my thought too, I have placed the car in a heated vented garage in the hope if it is moisture related this will hopefully dry it out. I will also check what you have mentioned.

I will keep you posted on the outcome 🙂  fingers crossed it sorts it

Thanks again for your time and help

    Sanjay
