I have been trying, without success, to have copies of original keys cut for my 1967 Maserati Sebring, can anyone advise where I could obtain original blanks, cutting them is the easy part.

I have had keys cut at shoe repairers but although they appear similar they are unable to be inserted in the actual barrels of the locks.

You could try http://www.davidaskew.co.uk who is the go to person for parts in the UK. That is strange though I would have thought keys for the older cars would be easier to cut at a locksmith. Let us know how you get on. He is very good at answering emails.

Also do you know the key code Series e.g. K3301-K4886, K7001-K8000 as there are some stockists in the US for older cars.

I had a complete set of spare keys made for my Sebring series 1 by McGrath Maserati Ltd and they all work perfectly well.

There is a link to Magneti Marelli original blanks. My Sebring came with similar ones.
