Hello – I was wondering whether I could boost the headlights on my 1977 Merak SS by replacing the bulbs?
On previous classics I have owned I have put in those “150% more power“ bulbs which are the same 55-60 wattage.
Has anybody done this in their Merak without any problems? If so could you recommend the bulbs you bought and the supplier?
Someone recommended the Osram Nightbreaker H4 bulb to me but according to Amazon they will not fit the Merak.
I’m assuming they are not a sealed beam unit – to be fair, I have not had chance to check yet!
Any recommendations appreciated.
