Gransport Spyder roof not closing

When closing the roof I stopped half way so that I could clean the back window, when I tried to close the roof fully it was not responding. The hood light on the dash flashes, the windows will not come up. I have tried releasing the hydraulic pressure by turning the screw behind the right seat, I have also tried disconnecting the battery for a few minutes hoping it would reset the ECU and magic back in to life, but no joy.  any suggestions ???

Fixed it!, – just in case anyone has a similar problem heres how it is done!

Remove the caps behind the seats, the right hand side – use a flat blade screw driver to release hydraulic pressure, left had seat – push the button to release the rear cover, you might need a tool to push this with, the screw drive or the Alan key will do the job! Hold the back of the roof up and open the rear cover, then with an 8mm Alan key release the windscreen clips (thats the Alan key in the centre near the rear view mirror). Fold everything down in to the stowage compartment. tighten the hydraulic realise screw and if your lucky the mechanism would have all reset and will now work on the button.

You can pause the roof for a while if you leave the ignition switched on – don’t turn it off.  This only gets a few minutes but it’s enough to clean the rear window.
