Okay you disconnect the battery and reconnect it and there are lots of items that need to re-learn what they are to do.

Now with the front seat you can teach them via the following from the handbook:

When the ignition key is at STOP and the door next to the seat concerned is closed, open the door
and start the following procedure within 5 seconds, then complete it within 10 seconds.
    forward – STOP
    backward – STOP
    forward – STOP
    backward – STOP
tilt the seatback fully forward and wait until the seat performs two complete
    travels (forward and backward).
Put the backrest in the normal position.

So the forward stop and backward stop movement is just a few mm or does it have to be a specific distance?

Then can the seat travel two complete travels in the ten second time limit?

Having fun with the passengers seat at this moment!

When I helped a friend last year we pushed the seats backwards and forwards about 5 seconds each way. We pondered the same question. It worked from memory after the second attempt.

We did disconnect the battery for about 30 mins initially.

    Best wishes doing this.

    Hi Philip,

I have recently purchased a GT-S with an MC gearbox. However, i know that the car can do much more than i know, therefore, I would need someone who knows the car backwards and to explain everything, driving, modes, electronics and so on.

the car is a 2009 Granturismo S, 4.7 engine with MC gearbox. Of course, i will pay for the persons time. i live in north/west London.

    Thanks Philip,

    Remo

    Remo,

I am South Wales and still do not know anything about the car. I am learning and the front passenger seat still does not want to play ball.

So probably not the best person to ask!

    Phil
