Number plate holderI have recently purchased a front number plate holder, part 84720600, from Scuderia Parts for my Gran Turismo.

Has anyone fitted one of these and therefore tell me where I drill the fitment holes.

I am a little worried about making a mistake.

    Thanks

    David

I think its me — but this is nothing like the front number plate holder on my Gran Turismo. I have a post facelift 2018 car and the plate holder is part 89175700 –or some have been  just been fitted without any official part -apart from the dealers number plate black backing plate straight onto the car.

I assume your car is a 2013 car otherwise it could be the wrong part — but also quite honestly I dont know how that fits — but do let me know you have the right part as I have an inckling that part maybe for a specific year and model.

Thank you for your message. Mine is a 2015 I gave Scuderia parts my VIN so I hope it is correct.

Hopefully some one else may have an idea

Hi David, I am not a GranTurismo owner but that does appear an odd shape from the image. Does the number plate marry up OK?

Eurospares quote ref: 80056900 for the UK (RHD) 2015 model   (https://www.eurospares.co.uk/parts/maserati/granturismo-2015/all-pages/front-bumper-316296/80056900)

I checked again and the part number that David quoted is ONLY for a specific 2013 model according to  a friend who I got to ring his local dealer in Italy. He lives about 15 miles from Modena . (Very popular with me !)

The mystery deepens but it looks all wrong to me and completely wrong shape and fittings for the 2015 year let alone later cars.

So- we await a reply to see if the plate marries up to the holder !

    Chris
