I’m looking to change my car type in the edit details, as they are wrong. The car details fields are greyed out though and not selectable.

Failing that I looked to add a new car, and then delete the old one, this gave me two problems. I missed out a field on the initial submission which then blanked my car type and wouldn’t let me select it again. You also can’t delete a car, it merely moves it to your previous cars.

There should be a way to remove a car completely from the record.

Yes, I just tried the same thing, you can choose which cars appear on the site so you can hide your two cars with errors and create a new one and only show that but we will have to think about how to delete incorrect records.

You should have the ability to amend your vehicle details, this feature was supposed to already be present and was there during earlier testing so we are working with the web developers to get it re-instated.

I tried adding a new car, which requires the chassis number. When I try and submit it I’m told that it isn’t a valid chassis number. This is interesting because its the one that the Maserati Service iOS app used to determine my car type.

I’ll try again in a couple of weeks.

We are aware of some teething issues with the chassis number formatting, there is a brief explanation to the right of the vehicle details that explains the formatting that the site has presently been designed to accept.

There is a need to ensure that the data entered into the chassis number field is accurate as this is the only unique identified for a vehicle as everything else can (and does) change. What with personal plates on the newer cars and re-sprays on the older ones.

If you have added a car, and then you then want to delete it, you will need to contact the Webmaster with the reason for deleting it.
So, yes, it can be done.
