<p style=”text-align: left;”>Looks very much like existing Ghibli but a bit of a boomerang light at the back. 48v hybrid system; 330 HP; 0-100 km/h in 5.7 seconds; top speed 255 km/h.  Claims 25% lower emissions than petrol model.  Most importantly, the promise of the proper Maserati sound, with using amplifiers… Lots of “connectivity” gizmos also promised, for people who presumably don’t mind being distracted when driving…</p>

I think they said no amplifiers, but tweeking the exhaust and adding resonators…

A nice nod to the 3200 though.

I’ve posted it in News if you want to replay (or just go direct to YouTube).

I watched the video. As ex 3200 owner I’m loving the rear lights, looking forward to hearing the revised sound.

I didn’t know who the famous presenter gentleman they used was at all- generation problem i guess. Didn’t tell you much really in any depth and to be honest i was much more interested in the two side arrows at the beginning. One said MC20 Sept 9th and the other Trofeo — which i am assuming/ hoping might b the 58ohp 3.9V* going into both the Ghibli and QP.

You may have received as i did an invite yesterday from Maserati  to a GranTurismo “ celebration” Trackday over 2 days in Italy later on this year. I would love to go but am very wary of flying off to Italy, staying overnight, socialising at the dinner , track etc. etc, and flying back in these troubled times. Might be too early to take that step yet.
