    That ties in with what I’ve heard – and my sticky bits and scratched buttons (which Rob did improved with a bit of black paint) are on the way to him too

    I’ve found that all the switches and buttons on my 3200GTA were ‘sticky’ and have removed and cleaned them all over a period of a year or so. My wife delved into her domestic cleaning materials box and tried many products but the one that finally worked the best was ‘The Pink Stuff’ a pink coloured cleaning paste. It takes a bit of effort but works well in the end – much better than white spirit or meths. Needs plenty of water to wash off and wipe dry properly hence the need to remove them before cleaning. Worth the effort as all items are still sticky free and hopefully will remain so!
