Some 3500 GT’s have the trident emblem within the radiator grille finished in brass rather than chrome – as in the case of the car in the photo attached which is 101-692. Does anyone know if the trident emblem itself is actually made of brass or has the effect been achieved by brass plating?
Similarly some 1950’s Maseratis – including the A6G2000 – have the Superleggera script in brass – one again does anyone know if the part itself is brass or is it refinished? And does anyone know where brass Superleggera scripts can be sourced?
