With the pending trip to d’Alsace I thought I would check how to swap RHD dip to LHD dip and vice versa, as required legally when driving in France.
As the headlights are adaptive Bi-Xenons (i.e. they move up down for self levelling and left to right to match the steering position) I thought this would be a simple user programmable menu option on the control panel, as there is one for turning on and off the DRLs (Day Time Running Lights) which are obligatory in the UK but not so in other European countries.
However it turns out there is no user programmable command that does this, so checked with the dealer and they could not find anything and their suggestion was stick on deflectors, tried a number of the specialist dealers and no one seems to know. I did try Maserati themselves and was put forward to Customer Support in Italy who, after four days, came back with there are no programmable options and that I would need to purchase different headlights!!
I was wondering if anyone else with a GranTurismo had resolved this in the past even if it is stick on deflectors as the only ones that are recommended are a make called Eurolites.
