    Hi, recently purchased a lovely 2009 4.7 GTS. Still smile every time I start her up! One job to sort, the headlining is seriously sagging and I’m pretty certain the foam has turned to crumb in places, so headlining needs replacing. Does anyone know how easy it is to remove the headliner? If I could do this myself, it might save a bit of cost on the reupholstering of the headliner. However, I have no idea how easy or hard this would be. Can anyone point me to some instructions that would help. Many thanks.

    This might be useful

    Not a lot of detail but shows enough to give an idea. The complete  replacement assembly is over £550 ( to order and wait). Eurosperes have it a san Enquiry item os probably you can but the “cloth” and strip off and regluea new one. I have never done this on a Maser but would guess the final result is how good you do the Spray Glueing rather then the fixing as its onto a solid one piece backing.

    Could be  depending on how confident you feelas a do it at home job  to get the right finish you should buy the whole thing and save the money on the dis and reassembly.
