I don’t even use E10 in my lawn mower, tried it but it became difficult to start. E10 has a lower calorific value than real petrol, I made a 200 mile trip in my Jag xk8 when this stupid idea was first introduced and found my fuel consumption increased by nearly 10%, tried it in my 71 Indy and it became almost impossible to start, now use E5, it is better but pure petrol was better. Alcohol has about 1/3 the calorific value of petrol and produces 30% less co2 ( or so they say) so you will suffer at least a 3% reduction in mileage using E10. I only use E5 and hope we can eventually get back to normality.
