Hi all.
Has anyone experience of an issue where the ‘source’ button on the MMS on 09 GTS does nothing? The unit will not play CD’s, although it does take them in and eject them ok. It’s like the unit does not ‘see’ the CD player anymore. And like I said the ‘source’ button does not bring up a selection of sources onto the screen.
I though perhaps pulling the fuse and reinserting might help?
Has the CD player ever worked in your ownership?
If so (and sorry for stating the obvious), then has any ‘incident’ happened which may coincide with it now not working? Flat Battery, work carried out on the dash etc. etc.?
Hi, yes I should probably add that this is a new issue. It used to play CD’s no problem. The last time I played a CD was before I had to charge up the battery from a voltage low enough that the EPB would not release. Although the engine turned over and started no problem. Today is the first time since the low battery voltage that I have tried to play a CD.
So I’m wondering if thus may have had an effect on the multi media system.
Maybe worth a phone call to one of the Specialists to confirm….
Be nice if it was just the fuse. Is there a separate fuse for the CD player? If so, have you checked it?
