As of 1 October 2024, Maria Conti will become Head of Maserati Corse, reporting directly to Davide Grasso, Maserati CEO and operationally to Jean-Marc Finot, Senior VP, Stellantis Motorsport.
Maria Conti has over 20 years’ experience in communication in the automotive and lifestyle sector in the international arena.
Previously, she held the position of Chief Communication Officer for the House of the Trident, after a professional career at iconic, premium and luxury brands.
Now, on her return from maternity leave, Maria Conti is the first woman to head Maserati’s motorsport activities.
Cars and communication form part of her DNA: its watchwords include expertise, creativity and plenty of enthusiasm, which she will also bring between the kerbs as she helps to renew the brand’s competitive spirit.
Davide Grasso, Maserati CEO: “I would like to thank Giovanni for the passion with which he has supported Maserati’s return to the track and for helping to make Maserati Corse a reality. We have begun to write an important new chapter in the 110-year history of our Brand, which has returned to where it began, having racked up victories, satisfaction and major results on circuits all over the world. I wish Giovanni the best for his upcoming professional challenges, where he will be taking a leading role.
Maria is a member of the Maserati Family. I am particularly proud that a woman will now be leading our brand’s activities on the track and bringing her expertise, energy, and enthusiasm to motor racing”.
