Have developed condensation in my offside headlight (2012 Granturismo Sport). Seemed to happen after a very wet 700 miles around North Wales a couple of weeks ago.

    Anyone else had the problem?

What did you do about it?

Is replacement the only option or are there known fixes?

    Any advice appreciated…thanks

When this happened to my bmw, I put it into the garage & attempted to dry it out.

First I used a hair dryer gently to warm up the lens then left left a frost heater on.

Once it dried out it never came back, this was all after a torrential rain storm.

It’s with doing the same otherwise dealer or indie of this doesn’t help.

If it doesn’t work, let us know where you are as some of the independents will likely provide a cheaper solution.

I’m in Kingston upon Thames btw.

Thanks Tony…seems to be getting slightly better without having done anything. Going to try and dry out completely this weekend with hairdryer on glass (through a towel) and then use a heatpad for 24 hours or so as I don’t have mine garaged.

Spoke with the independant where I bought mine (Giallo in Tonbridge) and they suspect it probably require replacement…prices are scary (£1700) so hoping for a miracle.

Ok, if you think it needs to be replaced have a discussion & second opinion first.

My Gransport head lights were getting foggy & these chaps managed to polish them up and save the replacement costs.
