Hi – I am a new member who has just bought a 1977 Merak SS. It is my first Maserati and a car I have dreamed of owning since I was about 14.
The problem I have is this – I understand they used three different dashboards in the car.
Mine I believe has the Bora style dash.
The trouble is that my handbook gives a guide to the dashboard controls on two of the dashboards – neither of which are mine!
Consequently I am trying to work out what half the knobs and switches are actually for as most of them are unlabelled.
Could anyone on here who has one of these cars and knows the answers give me some clues? I live in Cheshire so if you are nearby I would be happy to call round in the car or failing that maybe you could call me and talk me through them? I am on 07810 655646. Many thanks.
Well not had any response from anyone but think I have worked most of them out now. However would still be happy to speak to another Merak owner as still have a couple of queries.

For instance, what is marked on there as the rear aerial switch actually makes ghe pop-up headlights come up on my car. I have so far singularly failed to find the rear fog light switch. I will get there eventually!</p>
