The latest copy of Trident dropped through the letterbox today and, although the content is good, I’m find it harder to read because of the change to the binding. The previous binding meant that the magazine would lie open without effort making it easy to read whilst having a cuppa. The new binding doesn’t.
Is there any chance of getting the old binding back, or am I on my own here?
Mick, the new binding is known as “perfect binding” and I think an improvement on the stitched (or stapled ) version. You just need to run a finger down the spine for it to lay flat. The edge now gives the more formal information of issue number etc. for ease of filing.
Perfect Binding gives Trident a contemporary and smarter look! I like it and don’t find it an issue to read. That said I thought the content of this issue very interesting and involving. Well done Andy. Usual disclaimers as he is a friend!
