David & Sue White
ParticipantI’m sure it must just be me, but here I am sat at my computer I am computer literate indeed I work a 10 hour a day sat at a screen and am a member of many a forum and consiquently I’m normally quite conversant with Forum Procedures.
But with the Maserati forum I’m constantly going round in circles.
To explain the problem, if you could come up with clear instructions it would help me use the forum more.
I click on the emailed notification which takes you to the Website where I sign in,
the forum list appears,
I search down to the subject I am refering to.
I’ve then tried clicking on the subject line,
I’ve tried clicking on the last person that replied on that line,
I’ve tried clicking on the person who wrote the original,
Therefore I have now clicked on every available hyperlink on that particular subject line, all with the same result, it takes you back to sign in page, you sign in and you are back to square one, the list of subjects once again and so it goes on until I am dizzy and give up.
Can someone please guide me, it must be a simple klistake i am making? and presumably there are others?
PS I know I keep rattling on but I still think it is follie not having a whatsapp group, It has been a revelation to other trade associations that I’m party to, just how much interest and activity there is on their new WhatsApp groups which has increased members Participation and therefore Satisfaction.

ParticipantI just answered my Own question!! ? just clicked on the subject line which I have done previously but this time it’s taken me through to the string I was looking for. I think it must’ve just been a quirk of my computer and its cache, when I’ve gone in and out of the page it has now corrected its self.
HAPPY DAYS ?

ParticipantWell done David, it’s a great feeling when you solve your own problems.
Have a good Christmas.

ParticipantGlad you sorted it David.
I get the same issue occasionally when I look at the Forum on my phone – I go to the forum and click on a topic and it asks me to login and I get the same merry go round. Never had it on my laptops though.
To get around it I make sure I have logged out of the website, clear cache and then log back in.
Yours could well be cache related, so worth clearing your cache if you get it again.
A Merry Christmas to you and Sue.

Participant– Don’t we just love computers – maybe their underlying manufacturer is Maserati!!!
