Not sure with a SORN vehicle – but thanks to Covid 19 I believe your MOT is currently automatically extended by 6 months (although I believe the DoT is reviewing this) – google ‘when is my MOT due’ on the gov.uk site and it will tell you – if that makes sense. If it hasn’t been I think you can email them and request it. (I’m aware of this as for convenience, I wish to extend mine by a month to August so have been doing a bit of research). However I also think – but you’d have to check – if your MOT has expired you may drive to a garage to get it done, as long as you have an appointment, etc.
