As some of you are probably aware the club has a “Facebook” and “Instagram” pages (not sure about “Twitter” however it seems these are not really used or uodated very frequently. The Facebook page also seems a little odd and its difficult to edit posts once made – I struggled to delete a double post and eventually gave up.

Like the forum I suspect that many current members will probably not be interested in using the resources but maybe future / potential members might? Either way it would probably help the club stay current and visible with little effort.

I did mention this to Graham and he suggested it was worth putting a post on here, Facebook would probably require a bit more management but instagram / twitter would be easy for members / club to post what they have been upto.

    Any thoughts?

Personally I don’t have the time for posting on some of the social media sites. I have limited myself to a few that I use regularly.

The Facebook page is a good idea, however it really requires someone to take ownership and post regularly otherwise it will not get used very much if the content is always out of date.

Sorry I also don’t have enough time to do justice to take ownership of a facebook page but would like to follow one.

Which is the official maserati club facebook page?? There are many when you search. It would be a good idea to point the right direction on this forum.

    https://www.facebook.com/maseraticlubuk/ is the Club one.

We could just do with a volunteer to manage it…

I suspect some setting changes would help make it seem more current, with members posts a bit more visible and easier to update. Also the events could also be shown on the page.

I just feel it would be good to encourage members / potential members to engage with the club and fellow members.

I’m sure a few people could be given some sort of management rights so that they could add photos / info as the club?

Also should not be difficult for club to post on instagram?
