Was just wondering if anyone had any views on where they saw Maserati in 10 Years time?

What sort of vehicles will they be producing (assuming they are) will it just be 4 door cars?

Where will it sit compared to other brands in the group?

Will any of this affect how current / older cars are perceived?

Its difficult to see what market Maserati are aiming for the current idea of creating a BMW type range does seem to be gathering momentum but is progress quick enough and is it profitable

With Ferrari pricing their cars at 200k plus maybe there is room at 100k+  although would Alpha also see that as their market personally I would love to see the rebirth of the GTS priced between 80k and 120k

Something left wing could Maserati be used for spearheading the groups move to electric vehicles

10 years time – Totally electric on shared platforms from the parent group.

Electronically chip controlled everything e.g. GPS based speed restricted throttle.

Looking at the legislation coming in or proposed what other chance  is there ?

Unless a small independent producer and even this is “interim”?

Suspect the future of personal transport could be very different indeed.

Really am unsure how /where Maserati will sit within the group, could it go the way oc Lancia? Maybe the less brand and more model based?

With regard to electric vehicles if im honest im not totally convinced it is the right / total answer, however with the way the rule makers work in pushing thing in certain directions, first diesel now electric I suspect you could be right, just dont think we should be limiting our options!

Got to be a market for luxury sport gran tourers that don’t focus on 0-60 times of 3 secs (4-4.5 will do) but look fabulous – bring back Pinanfarina and sell for £100-150k
