I have loved this car since my first test drive and have had some journeys I’ll never forget but the arrival of my son in August 2023 means it just isn’t getting used so I have decided to let it go to someone who can enjoy it as much as I have.
Supplied by Meridian Modena Lyndhurst and first registered 01-08-2002 Car always garaged and kept on a trickle charger during my ownership (and I believe since new) Only 35,000 miles from new Always serviced by Meridian Modena Two previous registered keepers (I’m the second it its 22 years) Long MOT to May 2025 with no advisories This is an early Spyder with the rare manual gearbox. It is a low mileage car that has only been serviced by Meridian Modena. The air conditioning blows cold, all electrics work including driver and passenger heated seats and CD multi changer in the boot. Blue fabric roof is in good general condition with a couple of minor marks (close up photo’s can be provided). A new roof moto was fitted by well known independent Maserati specialist Giallo in Tonbridge in August 2022 There are some minor marks and stone chips on paintwork (close up photo’s can be provided). I’ve not had these repaired as I prefer the originality / authenticity that these show. Wheels are in good condition but could benefit from a repaint. All Pirelli tyres are good. Some of the dash buttons / air vents are sticky, a common issue with Maserati and Ferrari cars of this age but fixable (in Wheeler Dealers season 18 episode 4 they sorted the plastics on a 4200 GT for I believe £550). Car comes with both keys, code card, all hand books and tool kit present (including original can of tyre weld) and a spare gear shifter linkage. The car was originally supplied in August 2002 by Meridian Modena to a gentleman in Dorset. He used the car and had it serviced by Meridian (as shown in the service book) until, (as I understand it) health issues curtailed his use leading ultimately to the car being bought back by Meridian in 2018. Meridian then recommissioned the car before I bought it in September 2018. Since then Meridian have carried out the annual service and MOT each August (as shown in the service book) although I had the MOT redone locally in May for peace of mind.
